Hey, so what’s there to eat around here? It’s Rebeca with BrandTrue. And today, I want to talk about regional brands, and especially regional food brands. I’m really intrigued by them. Every city has those brands that are just part of our identity. I live in Cincinnati, and we’re all about Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn ribs, and most of all, Graeter’s Ice Cream. Every city has these brands that are just part of who we are that if someone comes to town and you’re giving them the tour, you say, “you can’t leave until you’ve had…” And like, remember when we used to go to concerts? An act will come through town, they’re onstage, and they’ll say, “Hey, St. Louis! Ted Drewes custard!” And, the crowd goes wild, right? I do see as a business person, that sometimes all this deep emotion, it’s deep, but it’s narrow. It’s hard for these brands to break out and go somewhere else. But, they’re so meaningful. By the way, during the pandemic, I suspect that these brands are struggling. So, tell me what you think, what you love about the brands in your town, tag them below and support ’em!
