TRANSCRIPT:
Hey guys; one of the things that I love about being here on LinkedIn is that I have all kinds of friends, some of which I’ve met in real life, and some of which I never have, that give me ideas And someone that I do know in the flesh, Bill Chidley, is one of my best sources. He sends me a couple things a week, what about this, what about that? And I just saw a message from Bill about the new Ferrari Purosangue, which is the first four door from Ferrari, as opposed to a sports car, but it’s not just a four door, it’s an SUV.
So we’ve seen luxury car makers make SUVs before but never these guys, and maybe because they’re a little bit defensive about it, they’re not calling it an SUV, even though it is, they’re just talking about a sports car in a new form. Okay; and also the codename that they had while developing it, Purosangue, they decided to keep it in the production model. It means in Italian, pure blood. But me, being a mud blood, this name rubs me the wrong way. It feels racist. It feels icky. That’s it, like we say on Twitter, that’s it, that’s the tweet, that’s it, that’s what I was going to say. Thanks Bill; I’m interested to hear what other people think about this. Thanks, bye.
