Hey guys, it’s Rebeca with BrandTrue. Does this brand name suck, Halo Top? So here’s the thing… I’ve got to have a question. I’ve got to be asking myself whether or not it’s good. If a brand name is excellent, we don’t have to talk about it. And I thought that maybe there could be issues with this one because Halo Top is a lower fat, lower sugar ice cream that’s still delicious, they say. And so it doesn’t describe what it is in any way. Is that a problem? Ultimately, no. It’s a great brand name, because if you think about it, ice cream is about indulgence. Halo Top is a brand that’s about being good, doing the right thing, not feeling sinful even while you’re indulging in ice cream. So it feels like it’s a pretty great name. It really connects to the mind state that the consumer is in when interacting with the brand. What do you think?
