TRANSCRIPT:
Hey guys, it’s Rebeca with BrandTrue and I want to do another Battle of the Brands. I think this one is really, really interesting. It’s kind of natural deodorants. Okay, so there’s this brand of natural deodorants called Native and they’re sort of, the name implies nature and sort of the people that were here before the chemicals, I don’t know. And then Dove, which is a mega personal care brand has come out with a deodorant that’s called Dove Zero.
So that’s talking about being without certain chemicals as opposed to kind of being natural ingredients, sort of not even in the realm of chemicals. They’re different. And so it got me thinking which one was better and I wanted to pit them head to head. And then the more I thought about it the more I realized that just because they’re both alternative deodorants doesn’t mean that they’re the same consumer. I’m not sure that it’s the same person.
I think that that market has grown enough that there’s room for both, and if forced, I think that the Native is a better proposition than Dove Zero. But like I said, I think there’s room for both. I’m curious what you guys think. I would love to hear your perspective. Thanks! Bye!
